The loss of Charlie Kirk is not just the death of one man, but a blow to the very soul of America.
When Charlie went to public events, he did so to minister to young people about their politics. And he talked openly about his Christian faith. He sought common ground with everyone—from people of deep religious faith to those who identified as transgender and everyone in between.
His mission was to help Americans understand that their voices matter, that political debate should be grounded in dignity, that civic participation is not a privilege for some but a right for all.
History teaches us that moments of demonic violence can spark turning points far larger than the incident itself. In 1914, the assassination of Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand by a left-wing radical seemed isolated at first—but it became a watershed moment that triggered a World War I.
This week, we have seen of too many of our own watershed moments: the tragic killing of Iryna Zarutska, the solemn remembrance of the day of terror on 9/11, and now the heinous and vicious murder of Charlie Kirk—a good man doing the right thing and being killed for it.
It's all just too much for many of us. And what do we do with it?
Charlie's loss is not only deeply personal, but civic. When a voice for reason, faith, and outreach is silenced, it threatens to silence others as well. Protecting the voices of voters means defending the people who encourage us to use those voices ethically, honestly and in freedom - Charlie Kirk style.
Charlie’s work was a reminder that America is stronger when every citizen stands up, speaks out, and casts their ballot. His death must not be a moment of despair—it must be a call to protect the sacred right to vote and the freedom to engage in politics without fear.
We will pray for Erika and the children, Charlie's parents, and all of those who are wandering in such deep grief today that they are not sure of the way out.
We will show patience and restraint. We will speak words only that reside on the moral high ground. We will acknowledge who we are, and that the values and principles we stand for put us in direct opposition to the forces of the left that have slaughtered hundreds of millions in recent history because they hate.
We do not hate. We work. We continue Charlie's political ministry in the field of election integrity.
God bless you all.
Then your light will break forth like the dawn, and your healing will quickly appear; then your righteousness will go before you, and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
