FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
WASHINGTON, DC – June 25, 2026 – Election Integrity Network (EIN) today announced it has been named one of 13 recipients of The Heritage Foundation’s 2026 Innovation Prize. The awards provide nearly $1 million in support to results-oriented conservative nonprofits advancing projects that strengthen families, communities, and civil society through research, education, outreach, communications, and advocacy.
EIN was selected out of more than 80 applicants for its leadership in building a permanent, nationwide infrastructure of citizen volunteers who develop accurate and transparent election laws, policies, and procedures. The organization is actively expanding its state-based grassroots capacity by onboarding new states, implementing a state-to-state mentorship system, and creating models that allocate resources according to each state’s stage of development. This work supports implementation of the principles in the US Citizens’ Election Bill of Rights through EIN’s Model Election Laws Handbook.
“We are deeply grateful to receive The Heritage Foundation’s Innovation Prize. This award will significantly advance Election Integrity Network’s mission to build permanent, state-based infrastructure for election integrity nationwide. By strengthening these grassroots networks, we will help restore confidence that every eligible citizen’s vote is protected and accurately counted. With this support, we will onboard new state coalitions and provide the mentorship and resources needed to implement the US Citizens’ Election Bill of Rights principles via our Model Elections Laws Handbook in communities across America. We thank The Heritage Foundation for its commitment to this vital cause and for partnering with us to protect the integrity of our elections.”
— Sharon Bemis, President, Election Integrity Network
The 2026 Innovation Prize winners represent a broad range of conservative organizations working in education, technology, healthcare, security, and election integrity. “This recognition affirms the essential role citizen-led efforts play in safeguarding the consent of the governed,” Bemis added. “With Heritage’s support, we will accelerate our coalition-building and equip more Americans with the tools to ensure every eligible vote is counted accurately and transparently.”
