Election Integrity Network Releases Comprehensive Model Election Laws Handbook

May 14, 2026

“The Greatest Weapon for

Protecting Elections Is An

Election Code that Ensures

Honesty, Transparency and Accuracy”

WASHINGTON, D.C. – May 14, 2026 – The Election Integrity Network (EIN) today

released its Model Election Laws Handbook, a groundbreaking, comprehensive guide

with Model Election Laws based on the ten principles of election integrity.

“The American voting system is broken. Citizen leaders across America have spent the

past five years studying the problems in state after state, and for the past eighteen

months, have devoted themselves to developing the solutions to those problems. This

Handbook is the collective work of citizen patriots who collectively stood up after 2020

and said, never again!” said Cleta Mitchell, Founder and Chairman of the Election

Integrity Network. “The Handbook moves from principles to action. It is a roadmap for

election statutes and procedures that will, if enacted, ensure honest and transparent

elections and guarantee accurate election results.  Imagine that!”

The 116 page Handbook is a complete statutory framework built on the US Citizens

Elections Bill of Rights—ten essential principles distilled from the input of hundreds of

election integrity volunteers, state coalitions, and policy experts, based on their tireless

work since 2021.

The Handbook addresses every critical aspect of election law and administration, from

ensuring only U.S. citizens vote to requiring photo ID for all ballots, restoring Election

Day voting, maintaining accurate voter rolls, mandating secure hand-marked paper

ballots, and enforcing transparency and accountability.  And the exact statutory

language to implement each principle.

“The progressive Left has invested billions to reshape election administration in ways

that prioritize outcomes over integrity, eroding public trust and compromising the

consent of the governed. The election framework found in the Handbook will correct the

problems caused by decades of damage inflicted on our country by those who want the

election chaos and insecurity we’ve witnessed in recent years,” said Sharon Bemis,

President of the Election Integrity Network and a former election official in Maine.
